KMES Mission Statement: We create a safe, welcoming environment where excellence is expected and improvement is continuous. I am beyond thrilled to get to know and work with your learner in the upcoming school year. MY BACKGROUND In December of 2017, I graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Teaching degree, with majors in Special Education with an emphasis in learning disabilities and Elementary Education. Folowing graduation, I worked as a high school special education teacher in the Spring Grove Public Schools where I taught all areas of content to students with varying abilities and needs. I cannot express the excitement I have beginning the school year here at KMES.
