Principal's Message

Welcome to Kasson-Mantorville Elementary School.   My name is Ariana Wright, and I am very proud to be the principal of Kasson-Mantorville Elementary School.  I feel honored to be part of such a wonderful school system with a Commitment to Excellence everyday.  The staff constantly seeks new and innovative ways to individualize learning for our students.  K-M Elementary has a long tradition of academic excellence. We are focused on supporting each child develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically in a safe and welcoming environment as we partner with parents in the learning process.

At the core of our work as educators, I believe we must connect with students and parents to understand the unique learning needs of each child.  A student-centered learning approach is built upon strong relationships with students, rigorous academic standards, innovative programs, and authentic learning experiences.  At our school, children are respected and appreciated for their individual gifts and talents.

Parent involvement and partnership in learning is the key to your child’s successful school year. Attending conferences and meetings, special events, having lunch with your child and volunteering in the classroom and school are very important.  Another great way to become involved in your child’s educational experience is to join the K-M Elementary Parent Teacher Association. You can see all of their events on their website.

I look forward to working with you.  With my “open door” policy, I know you will find me to be open-minded, thoughtful, understanding and compassionate.  I look forward to partnering with you to provide excellence for our students everyday. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Together in Learning,

Ariana Wright
